I am a native speaker of Spanish. I was born in El Salvador and came to the United States when I was 9. I love literature and poetry and chose to get a PhD in Spanish and Spanish-American Literature at the University of Virginia. I love Spanish. I would like my students to both appreciate it and to love it too.
