I also have a degree in ELS. I first got my degree in English but was very hard to find a job so I got a MA in Spanish Education. This was in the 80’s. I feel privileged to be able to help students who struggle with both languages both at the written and oral levels.,
At the personal level, it gave me the opportunity to understand and appreciate the importance of being Hispanic in this society. It has given the opportunity to travel to most Latin countries and Spain
