| How Has Spanish Played a Role in Your Personal and Professional Life? |
I took my first Spanish class in eighth grade and have been studying the language, literature and culture of Spain and Latin America ever since. I have studied in Salamanca, Spain and Guadalajara, Mexico and worked as an English teacher in Ponferrada, Spain. I have taught at NOVA for the past 9 years. I am looking forward to teaching my first Spanish for Heritage Speakers course this fall and hoping to get some good advice for this new challenge from this site. I’m so happy to have found it!
