How Has Spanish Played a Role in Your Personal and Professional Life?

I am a heritage speaker of Spanish and became a Spanish teacher in spite of my experience in Spanish classes in High School. Now that I am a teacher, I want to be part of changing and bettering this experience. On a personal level, being bilingual has linked me to my own family and identity development. I hope to always bring this to my students.
