I grew up bilingual in Italy speaking English and Italian. From an early age, I wanted to learn more languages studying Japanese and Spanish in high school. In university I began to develop some real Spanish language skills and have been teaching since graduating. My husband is of Mexican heritage, that is where my last name comes from
