I have always been passionate about learning the Spanish language, reading Spanish literature and traveling all over to learn about the many cultures that share this language. Although I studied it to make a career out of it, Spanish has enriched my personal life by allowing me to meet so many wonderful individuals (including my fiancee) for whom Spanish is their first language.

This will be my first year teaching a class for Heritage Speakers, and I am very interested linguistically and culturally in learning more about my future students and the role that Spanish plays in their lives. As it probably already plays a role in many of their home environments, I would like to help them prepare for improving and using their language skills in the workplace.
