| How Has Spanish Played a Role in Your Personal and Professional Life? |
I was born in Guadalajara, Mexico so the language is a large part of my identity. It allows me to communicate with people of my communicate and some of my best teachers were Spanish teachers. Professionally, it has allowed me to connect with students in a different level and we’ve been able to cover content that isn’t taught in other classes but is more uniform to their identity. So they feel proud of their roots!!!
