| More About Me |
My name is Dorcas Flowers. I come from Puerto Rico where I lived for over 45 years. I was born in San Juan and that is the reason I am a native Spanish speaker. I started my teaching career at 35 years after working for 15 years as a cosmetology and barber teacher. My passion is to teach in high school and college, and I have 3 awesome kids. I have a bachelor’s degree in special education and a master’s degree in arts of education with a concentration in vocational administration and supervision and I am currently studying for a master’s degree in Spanish at Texas Am Commerce Texas. I will not end learn and plan to pursue a doctorate degree in Spanish.
