Although a non-heritage Spanish speaker, I have always been very passionate about the Spanish language and cultures of Spanish-speaking countries. Most of my teaching experience is in teaching ELD/ESL to adults and high school students. After identifying a need in our school community, I now teach a Spanish for Heritage Students class at our high school and work continuously to develop more relevant and engaging curriculum.
