A semester-long project where students collaborated between the university and their local high school to produce a collection of oral histories. The students engaged in archival and interview training to engage with the elders in the community to highlight the importance of Spanish. The project concluded with a gala night where students presented their final product to the community. Here is a video where Dr. Emily Bernate explains in more detail her project.
