Promoting Collaboration and Advocacy Among Educators, Families, and Researchers

We bring together language leaders, language advocates, and program administrators involved in community-based heritage language schools, along with language researchers and educators in other bilingual programs, to explore ways to address challenges facing heritage language schools and their communities. The conference offers an exciting keynote address with a panel response from heritage education leaders. There are also full plenary sessions and concurrent workshops that provide opportunities to network with the community and explore issues that are important to you.

Includes a keynote by Dr. Maria Carreira,Professor of Spanish at California State University, Long Beach and the Co-director of the National Heritage Language Resource Center at UCLA (NHLRC).
