TeCHS 9th Summer Workshop 2023

June 1-2, 2023

We are happy to announce our 9th Annual TeCHS Summer workshop entitled “Strengthening Bilingual and Professional Pathways for Heritage Speakers.” The workshop will take place on Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 8:00am-6:00pm and Friday, June 2, 2023 from 8:00am-12:15pm at The University of Texas at San Antonio.  Our Keynote Speaker will be Dr. Glenn Martínez, the Dean of the College of Liberal and Fine Arts at UTSA.

We have opened the call for posters and call for an invited speaker. If you are interested in either of these, please consider submitting a proposal.

Registration is $75 for faculty/instructors and $25 for students. You may register for the workshop using this link. Please register by May 25, 2023.

We have a block of rooms at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Downtown San Antonio. Individual call-in reservations can be made by calling hotel reservations at 1-800-HILTONS, please ask for the group room block for TeCHS Summer Workshop. You may also secure your reservation by going to the provided link: https://group.doubletree.com/28q3br. The Hotel will honor reservations received by Thursday, May 18. Reservations received after this date are subject to space availability and at prevailing room rates.
