As a Spanish native speaker teacher, the Spanish language has been a key to get success as a professional in the USA. I started doing some after school programs but then the needs of the district to have more people teaching the language gave me the opportunity to start as a regular classroom teacher.

I was born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico. I have been teaching all grade levels since 2003 and for the last 10 years in Maryland, USA. I enjoy developing a different project with my students that involve global topics and I’m a plant, travel, and crochet lover.
