I spent 7 years living in Venezuela, and I have taught Spanish since 1996. Prior to that, I taught ESL for 25 years. I read Spanish novels in my leisure time. Recently, I began a fledgling Spanish for heritage speakers class at my college for the early-college students, who were all native/heritage speakers.
