I fell in love with the Spanish language and culture when I was 8 years old. My father was stationed in Panama and the first time I went to Panama City, I was intoxicated with the sights, sounds, smells, tastes, and people. I didn’t start learning Spanish until 8th grade but I had always known whatever I choose to do in life, Spanish was a part of it. Years later, I later was inspired by another Spanish teacher to become a Spanish teacher. I am so thankful to her for that. Since then I have traveled to many countries with and without students. I also lived in Mexico for 1 year. I watch shows and movies in Spanish and listen to music as well.
