| How Has Spanish Played a Role in Your Personal and Professional Life? |
As a non-native speaker, learning Spanish has really opened up a whole new world for me. About 6 years ago I decided that it was important that I learn Spanish to be able to communicate with more people and make a difference in the community. I started with Spanish 1 in Eastfield Community College and then got my Bachelor’s degree in Spanish at Southern Methodist University.
