After visiting Peru in 1998 as a recent high school graduate I developed a love for the Spanish language and culture.  I visited Peru, Mexico and  Venezuela and began studies in Spanish Secondary Education.  I have been teaching various levels of the Spanish language to high school students for twelve years.  Recently, I was asked to teach the Heritage Speakers class and I have grown to love it!  I want to pursue best practices in order to provide the best possible learning environment for my students.
