How Has Spanish Played a Role in Your Personal and Professional Life? | Spanish has been in my life since I was fourteen and started taking it as a second language in middle school and high school. Several trips to Mexico to do mission work helped create a passion and love in me for learning the language and culture. After majoring in Spanish during college, I moved to Mexico City where I worked for six years in ministry and met my wife. When I returned from Mexico I decided to to become a teacher and utilize my interest in skill in the language to teach high school Spanish for both L2 and Heritage students. |
